americaN module layout - Rastede 2018

Yes: this is N Scale! Hoquiam Mill.

The FREMO annual meeting 2018 was at Rastede (Germany), 2018-04-28 to 2018-05-01.

And americaN had, besides other special interest groups of H0 (two different time scales), H0e and H0m, TT, O, Oe, Ie, a terriffic layout:

It was the first time for me to operate with Time Table and Train Order (= TT&TO). And I can tell you: a new and exciting experience after having worked with Track Warrant Control (= TWC).

Why did americaN choose TT&TO? Because in 1956, there was no TWC, because radio control was technically not available at every place.

My facit after this meeting: to use TT&TO, I had to learn some basics, and after that, this is fun for the dispacher and the crew. And it is the way how the prototype operated.
